Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

Regardless if someone has had counseling in the past or they're planning to attend their first session, asking for help can be overwhelming.  It takes strength and courage to open up to someone we’ve just met.  Knowing this motivates me to create an environment where people feel safe and trust they can be respected simply by being themselves.

It is my goal to help you create your own goals to decrease suffering and enhance your quality of life.  When working with adults, I primarily utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to teach skills that allow you to gain insight, resolve personal conflicts and cope with difficult situations and emotions.
